Timelines

The concept of timelines is a hot topic these days. This is primarily because it is used in storytelling across popular culture, media, and theoretical physics, which captivates our imagination by drawing us to consider ‘what if’ scenarios and parallel realities.

Many films have explored this. A few of these include Back to the Future (1985), Groundhog Day (1993), and Somewhere in Time (1980). Three films that directly explore the concept of parallel timelines are Sliding Doors (1998), Look Both Ways (2022), and It’s a Wonderful Life (1946).

A timeline is a sequence of events arranged, as we see it, in chronological order, representing the passage of time.

Many have reported that when we are fully immersed with God/Source, time as we know it does not exist. In our Monthly Spiritual topic on Zero Point, we discussed the concept of connecting with this oneness outside of time. When we are in physical reality, it appears as though we are disconnected, and we experience life as linear, past, present, and future.

People sometimes talk about timeline shifts, or the feeling that one has moved from one version of reality to a different version. This is referred to as a timeline shift because it is as if one’s consciousness, or indeed one's whole life, leapt to a parallel path with different experiences and/or outcomes. Sometimes people who experience this also feel a shedding of part of their old self and a new birth into a reality that feels synchronistic or meant to be.

What are the Monthly Spiritual Topics (MST)?

We create new spiritual topics each month. Coordinators use these topics to facilitate discussions to give members the opportunity to talk about real-life situations and to share insights, ideas and strategies. The spiritual topics are posted on CC’s internal social connecting platform where members from around the world engage in conversation and share personal thoughts. These topics are designed to give points of discussion around self-awareness and spiritual development to enable and empower each of us to become the best version of who we are!

Aims of the MSTs

We are all on a unique journey to grow and find greater meaning, purpose, and joy in life. To do this entails a deep focus on one’s inner self. As 13th-century Persian poet, Rumi, stated, “Everything in the universe is within you. Ask all from yourself.”

To this end, the Monthly Spiritual Topics are designed to help members:

  • Know themselves better (self-realisation)
  • Connect with their inner wisdom
  • Develop conscious focus and intent
  • Live from a heart-centered space
  • Express compassion and be in service to everyone
  • Align with their Higher/Divine Self
  • Manifest positive change for themselves and the collective

Objectives of the MSTs

The Monthly Spiritual Topic process was created to serve two primary objectives: To offer spiritual dialogue and education for members and to provide Coordinators with relevant topic materials to facilitate engaging member discussions. This saves time for Coordinators who no longer need to search for topics and find materials to present. It also gives Coordinators the opportunity to further develop their facilitation skills.
